I use to have both phones. I was using my BB for business and Iphone for personal. I didn't like that fact of having 2 phones on me so I got rid of the Iphone and staid with the berry.

Currently I'm using the 9700, and I've been thinking about just going with the BB/ipod combination. Problem is, when I really think about it I can't justify purchasing the touch. While the BB media player isn't as "fun" as the Ipod touch, it certainly does get the job done. I don't really watch videos or play games on my phone, and the only browsing that I normally do is on FB or Twitter.

I did try out the Iphone 3Gs for a few weeks, but decided that it and (mainly) AT&T just wasn't for me

Yeah, if you don't really use your touch for anything but music, then it's not worth it, IMO. The blackberry media player will work just fine for music. It doesn't have to look pretty if you're not even going to look at it very much while listening to music.

I do. My iPhone was my old phone but now I use my blackberry as my phone and the iPhone is just my music player. I also use my iPhone as a phone if my blackberry battery dies on me

I have an iPhone 3G and a BlackBerry 9700 the iPhone for play and the BB for work - I can use my BB with just one hand and multitask - can't do that on my iPhone...

I still have my 9520 but mainly use my iPhone 3Gs now to be honest.

So much quicker and smoother.... I just really miss Blackberry Messenger when I don't use my Blackberry....

I've been using an iphone since the 1st came out and I love it. Recently i got tired of people asking me for a pin, so I got a bb too. The iphone is amazing for games, music and web navigation. But the BB takes all in the im department, so i'm adiccted to bb mess now...
My bill is about $90 monthly for both...

I have both. And a demo line in each. And it sucks cause what I'd REALLY like would be the iphone look and feel with a notification light, shortcut keys, multitask, and push (and don't say anuthing about that mobileme junk)

..for just data 24€ but no more than 30€ per month I don't make or need to make many calls and if I do I can get them chucked in for free

p.s having both the Berry and iPhone you have the best of both worlds

p.p.s just converted roughly $40 per month for both

BBM is nice, but its proprietary- it only works for people who have BB. Multi-service IM apps (that do AIM, yahoo, Google talk, MSN, etc) cover pretty much everyone and on a phone or a desktop even.

Right, BBM is one of the big lock in services for RIM. I thought I would miss it, but as it turns out I know more people that use YM and AIM then I did on BBM. Since the iPhone supports both of those I do not miss BBM at all.
