i dont have a mac so last night i installed VMware and MAC OSX and tried to update my iphone 2g (which is jail broken and unlocked on 3.0) all went great, it built my custom firmware, i put it in DFU mode, launched Itunes, found my Custom firmware and it started to restore. about half way through the restore i get an error that itunes cannot restore and i notice that my Iphone is no longer in DFU mode and says "connect to itunes" and Itunes doe snot show that the Iphone is connected like when i started..
Also, i when doing the Pwnage tool i never get asked to upload the bootloader files? i have done it 3 times and it never asks....why? i have never used the pwnage tool before yesterday..imk gonna try tonight to install the custom firmware that pwnage made under windows..
