    They are blaming you.

    Because while the hardware may catch fire from any sort of shock the phone/pod inures during normal use is something all phones/pods do. You have no clue how many times my winmo phones and blackberry shot glass into my eye after dropping them by accident, or pressing on the screen to register touch.

    Yeah, I am curious what the REAL explanation for these mysterious explosions..

    Hope it's not some faulty hardware like those Dell laptop batteries that exploded a few years ago.

    After having the storm for nearly a year and switching to iphone 3gs close to a week ago, I'd definitely say it's worth the risk....... and ETF .

    Nice pics. My iPhone doesn't even get hot and I use it constantly. Maybe they installed an AC unit in mine.

    If you have a Storm then why does it bother you that the iPhones (some)
    are exploding?

    And you failed to answer which WinMo and Blackberry devices have glass screens. I'll wait...

    Only 1 Blackberry, the Storm.

    The Windows Mobile devices I believe are some sort of plastic composit..

    althought I havent followed WinMo in a few years..last device I had was a PPC6700 which was plastic, as well as my Motorola Q9h, plastic.
