Thinking about picking one up for a few weeks before the new one comes out to get some hands on time with one.

Is $300 for a 8gb or 350 for a 16gb in pretty newish shape a good deal? Likely be able to resell it in a few weeks for at least what I bought it for?

Im just sick of the half a** BIS RIM gives consumers. It doesnt integrate into my exchange to get folders or calendar/contact syncing when other platforms like the iphone and WM do out of the box. I guess its great for basic smartphone users who need texting and send/receive and corporate types, but doesnt play well with exchange at all. I thought Id be fine without these things but, besides wanting to try an iphone for all the apps and web browsing, but I cant deal with BIS anymore missing basic features for the insane cost.

Yes... the 16gb is would be the better choice. It has a better resell value and the demand is higher for the 16gb.

If you could get white, that's a bonus.

That's pretty cheap for a 16GB. I'd snatch that up for sure!

What about a 8gb for $250? Seems like a good deal to easily resell in a few weeks for 250-300.

Rather not spend 350 to use until July nor have any need for 16gb of space. Never had more than a 4gb card in my phones.

It's hard to tell... in fact, it's hard to even say you'll get a buyer when the new one is even announced. The 16gb will sell even with the new one.

If you are looking to play with the app store, save some money and get an iPod Touch. The interface is the same, other than the phone related options.

It swung my decision to get an iPhone. Also, no contract to sign.

The iPod Touch cannot do many things the iPhone can, shaazam nope, gps nope, many many apps only work on the iPhone and if they do work on the touch have limited functionality.

I sold an 8GB black slightly used in great condition for 350 last week. So if you can get the 16GB for 350, go for it!
