Let's say for chutes and ladders that I upgrade my iphone to the 32gb 3gS correct then after the 30 days I decide I want to cancel this line. Do I basically have an ipod touch with a 3.0 camera video record and compass (when used on wifi)?

As long as it's after the 30 days, you'll just be charged the ETF fee, so yes, it would essentially be a glorified iPod.

If you received the phone at a discount, you will also be charged the full price of the phone if you don't return the phone.

Cancel within 30 days and keep the phone = charged for regular retail on phone.

Cancel after 30 days and keep the phone = ETF
