    Release Date Still Unknown

The jailbreak is all software based, and is as simple to use as blackra1n. It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models(ipt2, 3gs, ipt3), and will probably work on iPad too.
    On the iPhone

why does apple bother? they release "FU jailbreakers" OS updates, stop signing 3.1.2, and for what? it takes a couple of days, maybe a few weeks before it's all hacked up again!
it should be obvious to apple by now that guys like geohot aren't going to get tired/fed up of doing this. apple's just wasting their time and money, only to delay the inevitable.

I totally agree with you, and besides they are OUR iPhone's, iPod's, and soon to be our iPad's. We bought them with our hard earned money, not Steve Jobs, we should be able to use them with what carrier we want and if we want to jailbreak our phones, Apple should allow us without making these stupid roadblocks in every update... Peace
I wonder what surprises Apple has in store for us regarding security roadblocks in the G4 and OS 4.0

But at least it kills the unlock for a bunch of people. That's better for Apple than nothing at all.
