    This might be dumb but I wanted to ask...
    Theres a guy on craigslist giving away an iphone with a battery that needs to be replaced. i check ebay and they are going for 100$ for iphones that are torn apart WITH water damage...
    Does this seem right could this guy be really giving this away?

    its more than likely stolen so he could want to pass it on to someone else to get rid of suspicion,

    I agree with everyone else on this, if it loosk to good to be true, on cragislist 99% of the time it is... he can say it needs a new battery, but there can be other problems, and wihout being able to power it on, you'll get ripped off for sure.
