While I do not disagree, you would have to be the village ***** to think that this is real.

firstly, no pda/smartphone can be activated on a premium plan. Pricing is all wrong for the plans. Now, i'll state the painfully obvious: since when does Verizon solicit the general public to be beta testers? And then give you a free phone?

Come on. I can actually do a better job. Having worked in publishing for 10 years, I'll fire up Quark and Photoshop and have a better version in no time. Or maybe I'll just leave it alone. The naive bloggers of this world need more fantasy ammunition for their equally naive readers

Someone somewhere is laughing that this REALLY fake looking and sounding image they made is getting spread around. The rumors are going to pick up as we head into 2010 with "a rep told me" when in fact no one knows anything.

Lol the dreaded "rep told me". I found that reps don't know much when one told me Verizon would have the iphone by Christmas this year lol. And that there would be Three new blackberries out before the end of the year too. So far only two.. Maybe essex is next. Who knows..

It is funny that someone had nothing more to do than photoshop a picture for people so they start thinking the iphone is coming to Verizon, then realize they misspelled a few things lol.

Funny stuff! I especially like the part towards the end where it says you can choose any existing Verizon phone if you're not into touch screens. I'm trying to figure out how you could beta test the 4G network on a Samsung flip phone...lol!
