Cloud Browse is an app that allows remote access to firefox, allowing the iPhone to run Java, and Flash in the browser.

    Win?

I guess it's a win. I still don't see the need for Flash on any mobile device. I am also guessing that this is JB app. There is no way that Apple would allow this type fo app into the app store.

Edit: I stand corrected I just found it in the app store. Going to give it a look right now. Thanks for the tip.

Okay so here is my quick and dirty review. It does seem to work as I was able to pull up a flash game from Facebook. It is really slow though and the not very accurate on the iPhone touch screen. Overall I think it's a pretty cool app I just wish that it ran a little faster.

    It's clunky no doubt.

But still, it's great to see the capability there.

Yeah me too, the UI is just way too clunky for me to consider using it.

Is it really Flash running on the iPhone though? It seems to me from using it that it's just remote access to the FF desktop version. I mean I know that it is running via the iPhone but I wonder about the difference in doing it this way as opposed to running in a native app.

No, because the Flash code is not being executed on the phone. It's no different from running any other VPN program, except in the case of Cloud Browse, it's totally unsecure. I guess it could work if you absolutely must view a flash object on your phone.

That's what I thought. I was also wondering about the security issues as it seems like it would be very easy for someone to get there data stolen using this app. Thanks for clearing that up though.
