    When I receive a email on my phone ios5 it duplicates the emails when I'm notified.

    It also populates in my notification center pull down thing twice.

    I have one exchange gmail acct and a cloud account.

    Any input please.

    No its not, just my .me email is associated with icloud

    I turned off icloud hoping it would help but it has not,.

    Still receiving duplicate emails in the notification pull down but not in the mail app

    I will be patient in this process of the kinks in the system, I have quirky things that is why I love apple,,

    Is your MobileMe account still listed as a separate account from your iCloud account in "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars"? And, if so, is the mail still switched on?

    nope... no mobile me account just a exchange gmail account, I removed the icloud account but still having the same issue..
