I'm interested in designing some peripheral devices to work in conjunction with the iPhone
Does anyone know if we can draw power from the iPhone itself, or is there a diode (or similar component) limiting the flow of current?
I don't want to crack open my iPhone to find out

I doubt the iPhone itself would be able to power anything directly
