I think your lying to yourself if you think you need more 5% of that number of apps :p
I don't think it's a need thing personally. Because if you think about it we don't NEED any applications at all, It's more of in the WANT category from the beginning. I can see your a Blackberry Tour user though so if you came in this thread to cause any arguments I'll warn you now:
Please refrain from doing so crackberry has had enough Apple vs Blackberry and other vs threads to start another.
Personally, for me it wouldn't matter, but, if we cant fit 2160 apps, and apple IS lying... that would make me sorta mad.
It can easily fit 2160 apps and plenty more... so no, they didn't lie. It clearly states that at the bottom of the article.
I was more upset that they didn't lie...
How can you doubt the Apple infallibility? In matters of phone they can't be wrong. War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, iP4's don't have connectivity issues. How DARE you doubt the Pope, I mean Apple. It is blasphemy!
*end sarcasm*

OP - did you read the article? Using itunes you can get more than 2160 apps on your device, but exactly 2160 on your 11 homescreens (using itunes).
I placed this guy at the end of my little sentence he looks like this :p that was because I read the article, and knew you could put more then 2160 on the iPhone through iTunes. I was just making people aware who tried or so they would know for the future how to get the 2160 apps to show on their iPhone. I wouldn't have posted the article without reading it first.

Good point.
Who the **** has 2160 apps on their phone in the first place? Just curious.
