Ok, so my BB Bold was stolen and i dicided to try out the iphone. Is there any way to get my contacts from a back up file an load to the iphone?

I can't think of one. But, do you use Gmail? If yes, do you not have your contacts in there?

Try one of Google's sync options...

You'd have to restore that backup to another Blackberry Bold, then sync your contacts to Gmail, then connect your iPhone to that Gmail account.

not sure how many features the trial has but maybe it will do just enough. if it converts to csv then you can import to outlook and sync with itunes

I went from a Storm to iPhone, and if I recall correctly... I exported my contacts from the BB Desktop Manager into Outlook. Then went into iTunes, and imported the contact list from Outlook, and sync'd it up w/ the iPhone, and viola.
