I am taking a car trip from Southern California to Northern California. Is there an app where I can track my route along the highway, with continually estimated time-of-arrival or time-remaining-to-arrival either to my destination or to various highway waypoints along the way? In the same manner as a car GPS would do?

att navi it would cost you 10 buck a month but you could cancel it

I like G Maps from the app store. Seems pretty stable and only costs $35 right now.

There is maps to though it doesn't track your miles and when you are going to get to where you are going.

TomTom is coming out with an app that they announced at WWDC. Go to TomTom dot com. Not much info yet but that's what I'm waiting for. When you click United States, it's the third screen of the flash announcements.
