The ifrogz causes damage to the iPhone. I got an incase slider today and it's excellent. Im waiting on my seidio innocase surface and holster to be delivered.

I just use a pouch to keep my baby safe. Seno ultrathin leather pouch or something. Had one for my 3G and it was great, ordered one for my 3GS after I lost my other case, lol. Protects it from minor scratches and falls I guess. I just like that the whole phone is protected rather than the back, and the phone is unlikely to slip out of my hand naked with the grip I keep on that thing.
capsule rebel,
seems to have more protection than the slider,
thoughts, comments...
i posted this on two different threads but i hope i get some good info!
Apparently the Seido Innocase and the Incase Slider models are the two most highly rated by a lot of people. Both are kind of expensive ($35 for a plastic case is kind of a lot, I think) but people seem to really like them and they come in a variety of styles and colors. The only thing I don't like about the Innocase is there is a hole in the back of the case for the Apple logo to stick thru. I think it's just really dumb looking - can I get this case without the hole?
Some cases do but the majority of them don't. The Incase doesn't. Don't know about the others. You can buy a pack of screen protecters from the Apple Store for like $15 I think and you get 2 or 3.

ok i am a acura tech and use my phone all the time so i needed something tough so i bought the otter box defender and WOW what a case i have dropped the phone from about 3 feet and NO damage at all. worth the money
I have the Seidio case/holster and really like it. I also have an Otterbox Defender that is awesome but big. My wife has the Otterbox on her 3gs now since she is a lot harder on phones than I am. I also put the Power Support Anti-Glare on both of our 3gs's and love it - super easy install with zero imperfections.
