Has anyone read about Apple's response to the new iPhone 5 problem.

    http://www.tomshardware.com/news/iPh...Fix,18220.html

The pictures taken with the iPhone 5 end up with a purple hue, they say that all iPhone's have this problem along with most small cameras, they blame it on lens flare, from light sources that are not in the camera frame. So they basically say to fix it you need to take the pictures differently. Implying you don't know how to use the device.

What dose everyone else think, do you have problems with a purple hue showing up in your pictures from lens flare cause by a light source that is out of frame.

I have had a number of camera, small and large, that I have taken endless number of photos with. But have never had lens flare produced but a light source that was out of frame, nor have I ever had it cause a purple hue in the photo.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

Here's an article by Consumer Reports, the people who 2 years ago didn't recommend the iPhone 4 because of "Antennagate."

Our tests find 'purple haze' effect isn't limited just to the iPhone 5
