It seems that noone wants to trade their iphone for my 8900 on CL. Nor does anyone just want to give me their iphone. It looks like I am out of luck unless I do one of those free iphone site things lol. Maybe i could add a line, do you get subsidized prices that way?

That's the dumbest analogy I've ever heard.

I think of the iPhone as cruising from point A to point B in a Ferrari..

BB's are like going from point A to point B in a Civic. you get there, but it's slow, cumbersome and annoying.

Sell your brand new 8900 on Craigslist for about $250 and pay for a full iPhone. I upgrade phones early all the time and that's what I do...I sell my old phone for some $ so the new phone doesn't hurt so much.

My local CL is full of people wanting to trade their 8900's for iPhones. Unfortunately as mentioned, nobody wants them. Agree or not, the iPhone is still a big ticket item. I have bought every iPhone that has been release at full price (x2 for the 3GS) and I spent countless hours on CL looking for bargains. I evetually had to bite the bullet and pay for them. I Dan suggest this though, for one of my 3GS's, I was able to snag it for 199.00 as un upgrade on my dads AT&T account. He didn't care one bit about it and gave it to me. If you know someone who is sitting on an upgrade and doesn't want it, hit em up. U might get lucky. I was able to upgrade via apple.com and had the phone mailed to me.
