Question said it all. I'm frustrated with the development of the storm. So is there anyone using an iPhone on Verizon's network right now.
Nah, iPhone only has GSM radio, and Verizon's network is CDMA only. iPhone cannot work on Verizon's network, just like the LG Dare cannot work on AT&T's network.

Me neither. There is widespread speculation that Apple may be using any talks to bolster negotiations with AT&T. What probably will happen is other devices like Apple netbooks could see their way onto Verizon.

I agree with Lastraid, The iPhone will not arrive (if ever) until Verizon's LTE is fully implemented (2012 ish). Apple has chosen to focus their efforts on world wide distribution of their iPhone products (GSM), and not CDMA which is only available in the US.

CDMA is not only available in the USA. China comes to mind as a sizable country that uses CDMA as well as South Korea.
Anyway, at the Q1 results meeting Lowell said he talked to Steve Jobs, Steve Palmer and the Google guy recently. He stressed that Verizon doesn't want a clone of the iPhone/G1/whatever and they aren't going to ride along on a single device.
