I got my Iphone about a week ago and have played around with different twitter applications. I tried using twitbird and when I go into the settings for push notifications it says 'device token error, please use ligitimate iphone/ipod touch to use push notification. Jail breaked iphone or ipod touch may have problems to receive push notifications' I haven't done anything to the phone so I can't figure out why its giving me this message.

I've never seen that error before. Did you buy the device from a store or from someone?

Twitbird was junk and I deleted it right away.

best twitter app, hands down, is SimplyTweet.
i dont like to buy apps often but im SO GLAD i bought this one!
the push notifications for mentions is pretty awesome.

oh and twitbird kind of sucks...
and now that it's been pulled it'll have an ugly new icon!
