That's interesting. I wonder if it's unique to the 5S. I've had iOS 7 on my 5 since Beta 1, and I haven't had a single reboot since installing the Golden Master. (Plenty of reboots during the early betas, of course, but that's to be expected with beta software).

No no no. It's an obvious anti-Apple bias leading to rampant Apple bashing.

As an iOS developer, if I write code that uses an API that depreciated in iOS 7, my app is going to crash. ****ty code will crash on any OS. BlackBerry customers are used to this, it's no different than any other platform. This has nothing to do with the hardware or the version of iOS. Most iOS apps were written to be backward compatible with iOS 5 & 6, and there is more than a good chance that something is no longer supported in iOS 5, that needs to be updated for iOS 7...

As far as random reboots, we have a lot at our company, haven't seen one...

Do you think Apple forgot to mail off all of those payment to the media to kill BlackBerry, so they have turned on Apple until they get their checks?

Now stop it... all of you!

I heard that muttering at the back H20work... see me after class!

OP is desperately trying to demonstrate how the media is biased against BB, and so never reports any anti-Apple news, and you all respond by posting several clear examples of anti-Apple news in relation to the 5s rebooting.

I see it just a little bit differently. Reviewers reported what they experience and it only seems as if BlackBerry gets blasted because of the number of people who take umbrage at what are essentially honest reviews of what the writer has in front of them. Take the recent article from Bloomberg (I think) where the reviewer was mostly positive about the Z30. Almost everyone in that thread ignored the positive aspects of the review and treated the in passing comment about a random reboots as if someone had called their mother a tramp.

The coverage BlackBerry gets is equal to what is happening with respect to the company and the products. The reaction of folk around here, well, that is another matter entirely.

I don't remember anything in the media about bbry reboots until the z30 reviews came in. Even then they didn't make a big deal out of it.

That simply doesn't support the anti BlackBerry media conspiracy theories and is therefore deemed incorrect.

Usually best to keeps ones delusions private. Avoids controversy.

Apple is the only mobile tech company that when the have a F'up, get a 'gate tagged on to the end.

    Antennaegate
    Parentgate
    Mapgate

    Could be others.

The key to staying out of negative media is not to have so many F'ups.

You occasionally have to hit some out of the park.

All of Blackberry's "hits" have been infield or ground outs.

The Z30 a possible foul tip.

Those of us who had reboots were called liars and trolls because none of the reviews ever mentioned it.
