Ok this is probably a stupid question and has the most basic answer but I just couldn't find anything when I was trying. When your composing an email from your iphone, how do you add an attachment? If its a word or excel dosumnet do you have to have that documents to go program?

Not a stupid question at all. You have to be in the doc that you want to email and there should be an option to send as email. And for things like Word and other office Docs you do need Doc's to go. This is on area where the iPhone really sucks, great for basic email things but not so good for more advanced things like adding pics and attachments.
