yeah, will get the iphone, cause it's the OS that makes it... But, my hopes r high for the 6.0- it needs to be a savior and deliverer... @ pete6- when that dell hit the streets, it's gonna be the fast show all over again...
I'll take a good look a very good look at it, if the phone convinces me I might just switch, I owned the iPhone 2G before I bought my first blackberry which was 2 years ago.
**** yeah. If it ever comes to bell I'm selling both my 9700's for $250 a pop.
If it comes out for rogers, what ill do is, give away my phone for someone to take over my contract, plus id pay them $400 to do it so I can get a new contract with rogers or whoever in canada picks it up first!
it is for me - and frankly speaking, I am going to try iphone 4G/HD or Android. if I am going with touch phones, I would go with one of those. RIM is not strong in this kind of stuff (yet?)
and also I feel like BB OS is getting outdated, and the new one OS6 seems (from those leaks of info) to be all targeted for touch-devices.
stick with old legacy stuff? there should be a reason for that. I can see valid reason if you want to stick with real keyboard, but what else?
I am probably going to buy one (iPhone 4g) because developers of apps see the platform as a greater potential to make money, whereas BlackBerry is a smaller audience and developers earn less money. I want more options to sync tasks / events with my Mac.

I will get both, but I'm more excited about the 9800. I'm also really hoping that 6.0 is as great as i want it to be. The micro sim is the only thing making me hesitant on buying the iphone 4g.
I've always had an interest in the iPhone, it's a beautiful bit of kit, but seriously, as a phone it sucks. Now I have my 9700 which is an AWESOME phone, plus I have my iPod Touch which has all the 'toy' features that make the iPhone appealing in the first place.
I will be replacing my 3GS with the 4G. Apple does touchscreen better than almost
anyone. I will never use a touchscreen BlackBerry, let alone one with moving parts.
It will push. They only have ability for one exchange account right now. 4.0 is suppose to fix this... I left the iPhone for the bold 9700 this week. I think I made a good choice.
