That's great news! Now I'm just waiting for an untethered JB before I upgrade.

Can anyone who's upgraded comment on the performance of Safari?

I use the browser more than anything else, so I'm curious if it's improved enough to justify throwing my jailbreak away.

    Thanks.

Why not wait for a jailbreak, then upgrade. The JB's usually follow shortly after anyway.

Veizon isn't gonna push 4.3 anytime soon so for me it don't matter.

I would like to know this as well. Personally, I don't think we'll see any drastic changes/improvements until the 5 comes out. But I am def curious.

Safari is lightening fast, it was fat before, but is now noticeably faster! Love it!!

Honestly, I don't take advantage of J/B'ing nearly as much as I could.
I have very little invested in it. In fact, it usually makes my device lag.

I really just like having the option.

Significant improvement to Safari, like a wow improvement, not exaggerating.

Thanks, I had seen those tests.
Great news if you have iPad 1 or 2, or iPhone 4.

For people like me with the slower 3GS, I don't expect such a drastic improvement.
But it must be somewhat better?

Yea.. I get that. I haven't really taken too much advantage of jailbreaking myself. But like the option of having it. Besides, it's easy enough to revert back to non-jailbroke condition. Actually, were it not for the ability to attempt to get flash working, I might not have even jailbroke the phone.

With all the Java scripting this site has, I'm not surprised a lot of you are seeing the speed differences if you're on here on your iDevices. #1 reason I want the new OS myself. Lol I don't find it slow now, but doubling the speed on the script processing will be a nice boost.

I see, yea I'd agree the improvement on the 3GS would be minimal at best.
