Quick question please. Getting a 4 tomorrow. Have a 3GS with loads of apps including paid for stuff like sat nav apps. If I connect the new one to my laptop with my ITunes, will it put that lot on my new phone and all work?
If I then give the 3GS to my wife and she connects to her ITunes on her laptop, will all the apps disappear from the 3GS?
Don't want to lose my stuff! I heard that Itunes sync what is on the phone to the computer.

When you plug your iphone 4 in itunes will ask you if you want to start as new iphone or restore from old iphone (not word for word there) but you should get the point! It will restore all your apps contacts messages etc from your last backup which should be the last time you pluged your 3gs in!

Make sure iTunes has been backing up your apps this whole time.

your itunes account follow you.. not your phone.
i recommend resetting the 3GS so that your wife won't have any problems with it when she connects using her itunes account.
erase all data..( after backing up of course)
