2 question's & your opinion

Hi -

Question 1: How do I change the name of the iphone. I want it to say Michele's iphone and it says home iphone.

Question 2: Does itunes know which phone is connected. I don't want them mixed together. I've plugged both in but I'm confused. Both are activated.

Opinion: I bought 2 3GS's from coworkers who upgraded (for $100 each). Black one is in 9.2 out of 10 condition and the build is 48th week of 09. It is on OS 4.0. White one is in 9.8 to 9.9 condition and is build 39th week of 09. It is on OS 4.1....grr.

I started off with the black one till I got the white one and I switched to the white one and gave the black one to a family member. I'm on TMO for my BB9700 and use all unlimited. I've got the iphone hooked up with a gophone SIM and use Line 2 and have the 200mb data package. I use on wifi mainly. My hope is to eventually jb and unlock and possibly then use as my main phone. Which phone would you keep?

1 - When the phone is connected to iTunes, double-click the name that it currently
has. On your left side where it's listed. You'll be able to rename it from there.

2 - iTunes knows which phone is connected. They both have different serial numbers.
So with each of them, you have your choice of what you would like sync'd and not sync'd

Opinion - The phone that's in better condition.

To Change the name, go into iTunes, plug in the phone. Now in the left sidebar you should see your iPhone with the name. Now click (maybe double click) on the name, and type in what you want!
