Apple is expected to release a BIG bugfix update (2.1) in Sept.
And Steve speaks again: Apple is: "working on a software update for September that should fix most of the problems, which ranged from network weakness and drop calls to disappearing media items and GPS quirks".
So in summery the iphone Sept. (2.1) update will fix the following:
* Laggy keyboard, contact lags, etc (If 2.0.2 didn't fix it for you)
* 3rd Party Apps crashing
* Network weakness
* Drop Calls (If 2.0.2 didn't fix it for you)
* Disappearing media items
* GPS quirks
* Two security fixes involving the iPhone's built-in passcode protection
I really hope they put in a search feature in Mail and SMS. It's one thing I might not be able to live without and forces me to switch back to Blackberry and grab a Bold.
I am very surprised Apple has not released MMS or Copy and Paste for the phone due to the fact that these are certain factors that people complain about. I also believe that they if both of these issues would be fixed (in regards to copy and paste) more people may take the plunge to try the phone.
All I know is.......Steve Jobs has got to have MMS on his iPhone
