I'm torn here and don't know which to get. I can afford to get the 32gb but not sure if I really need that much space especially if it means me saving 100bucks. I also don't want to feel screwed if it drops in price if a newer version iphone is in the works.

    Anyone have opinions...

I felt the same way a few months ago but decided to go with 32 gigs. The more
and more you own the phone you're going to load it with all kinds of things. For me
    I prefer 32 gigs

I went with the 32gig. Better to have the space and NOT need it than to need it and NOT have it!!

I have to agree, the 32gig is a better buy. If nothing else, in the long run the resale value of the phone is going to be much higher. On the flip side, if you don't have a lot of music, the 16 gig will be fine.

But if you have a few movies, 32 is the way to go

    32gigs is better I think.

When it comes to space, over time you will need more of it.

Whether you only have 14gb now, or 8gb, once you start exploring iTunes, and the App store, your library of music and apps will grow.

I personally started off with an 8gb in '07, then I ran out of room, and had to get the 16gb, then eventually I ran out of room and Apple released the 32gb model.

Unfortunately, Now I need more than 32gbs.

And no, I dont have movies loaded on my phone.

    Just music, and apps.

I agree with most of the posters in this thread the 32 is the way to go. The only reason that I got the 16 is that I have both a 16gig touch and a 30gig classic ipod. Figured I could say 100 bucks.
