Application Name: Keyboard Shorcuts - Add 32+ new shortcuts

For Q5/Q10/Classic/Passport with OS10.3.1 and higher

New App: Keyboard Shortcuts. Add 32+ more shortcuts-img_20150107_105034.jpg New App: Keyboard Shortcuts. Add 32+ more shortcuts-img_20150107_105043.jpg

    Description:

Keyboard Shortcuts extends the System Keyboard Shortcuts and beyond to give you over 32 additional shortcuts like instantly turn on the Flashlight, turn on Wifi, open Message Composer, Web Bookmarks, Clipboard, View Files and Map Location manager, place a Fake Call, play a Fart and Air Horn Sounds. Set a shortcut key to Speak the current date time and temperature, System Information and Today or upcoming appointment. Some System Settings can also be set to a shortcut like opening About, CPU, Memory, Wifi and many more.

    What is a Shortcut?

Shortcut allows you to assign a different task to each key on the keyboard. When you hold the key down on the keyboard while on the HomeScreen that task is executed.

    What is Keyboard Shortcuts?

There are only 25 available keys that you can assign shortcuts to. Pretty soon you will run out of keys. This is where Keyboard Shortcuts comes in. Keyboard Shortcuts offers many new shortcuts not possible with the System Shortcuts. Unlike the System Shortcuts, Keyboard Shortcuts comes with Template Managers to let you add unlimited shortcuts.

Click on the below link for more details about each shortcut

So how do you activate one of these shortcuts? Is it long press th launch the app then press something else to perform the shortcut? Or did you make some kind of headless app where you can just assign these new shortcuts to any key longpress?

Looks like it adds more options to os shortcut selection.
I want to thank the author.

Can someone confirm? I might buy it if it's just one long press like regular shortcuts and not a two-step process that requires the shortcut app to be selected first.

Oh, and also, the notification shortcut, can you customize which two profiles it can switch between? The default system one is buggy and only switches between normal and silent no matter what you try to do, I would like it to switch between normal and vibrate only...

I'd like a shortcut like longpress spacebar to return to the home screen. And one (longpress x?) to end running and return to home screen. Stuff like that (kill all running apps, free memory, etc.).
Are these possible? Instead of farting?

To activate is just like the System shortcuts. Just press and hold the key on the keyboard and it will execute.

Currently you can only switch from All Alerts Off/Normal. We can easily add more like Silent/Normal, Vibrate/Normal.

Sorry No. There is no way to force the homescreen to goto a page or return to the Homescreen. If BlackBerry adds new HomeScreen API then we can add this.

Is there a shortcut to answer / end a phonecall, like pressing space, or something else?!

There is no such api to answer the call but I can add reject/end call to a shortcut. You can't assign space bar to a shortcut. BBOS won't allow this.

Ok thanks. The reject/end call is better than nothing
Hope BlackBerry will give this API to answer a call in the future to make it happen...

That exists in the stock shortcuts. K to lock, U + enter to unlock.

Yes. That's what I'm using. It was pre-set on my Passport when I picked it up on launch day. It does have to be a long press, from the homescreen.
