    Looks cool!
But why results are not sorted by distance?
I typed starbucks and the first result item is not the closest.

    Hi @prateek.samtani,

HERE maps are also provided map api but not offline for 3rd party developer like us. We've implemented HERE in version 1.x and found out that not much users really want to use HERE data so we decided to revoke it out of app since version 2.x

Installed this app when it was free, then when I got notification of an update I pressed the Update button too quickly (ignoring warnings in the reviews not to do so) and bam - it became paid for app. So I paid (even though was a little disappointed) then I contacted the dev asking about an issue with Blackberry Maps and why they made it non-free. He was very quick to reply and open about they needed funds to continue development, and also promised he would fix the BBMaps issue. Guess what - in a few days he issued about 3 updates that fixed it and more. So happy to support him, and looks like the combination and integration of Search4place and BBMaps can easily replace the need for Google Maps

Navigation on the Classic is rather awkward. The back button always exits the app, even when there is a back button on screen. Also could use a few keyboard shortcuts for the various tabs.

From reading this thread I decided to go ahead and purchase this app. Nice job. This will come in very handy.
Two things that I noticed that need improvement. "Casinos" doesn't show any even though there is one only 22 miles away and several around 122+miles away.
The second, and more important is that there isn't any support for Passport KB scrolling.

Overall no regrets on purchasing this and looking forward to what you have in store for this.

    Hi @Smokeaire,

The data of places is depend much on Google service and their partner, so if you don't find any place in any category (like your case Casino), it might come from lack of data or data restriction from their service.

I'm going to find a good way to support Passport KB scrolling whenever available. Currently I don't have any PP device for testing, so it must be hard for me. Please understand for that.

    Thanks for your suggestion,

I understand. Thanks for the reply. It is a great app. Looking forward to using it in different locations.
As far as testing I'm sure there are many people here with Passports who will be willing to test it for you. We have to support our BB developers.

You mean using BB World? If you use the SAME BBID, you can reacquire apps. Open BB World, My World, apps/games and then at the top, tap AVAILABLE. Find your past purchases and download again.
