also curious. i knowww it will be able to push it.. its just a matter of how long it will take. i know blackberries are almost instantanous.. but will the droid be that instant? if u have a gmail hooked up will it be instant?

just a couple of things we need to decide on b4 actually making that jump. lol

I've got Gmail, so I'm sure that will be pretty quick.

Since it is native with gmail, I'd bet it'll be instant. As for every other provider not honestly sure. But we all know that if email strength is what your after, blackberries cannot be beat.

If you have Gmail or google apps email, it will be pushed to your device just as fast as on the blackberry. It will play nice with enterprise servers too. If you are on other pop or imap, no push for you

My wife has the G1 and I have a blackberry and my gmail gets pushed in under 20 seconds consistently and the G1 can sometimes take up to 5 minutes to get to her.

Doubt it. There's no server to support push for multiple account types.

At best you're looking at EAS or imap idle with gmail.
