Where are all of the Eris videos? Did Verizon not give any of those out? I know I could just watch Hero vids but its not the same. I still plan on getting the droid but I would like to see more android on verizon vids.

Thats the thing. Its only running 1.6. I would think 2.0 might make it worse. It has a year old processor in it.
I bet it's the sense UI; and come to think of it. Thats why the probably
upped the processor so high on the Passion to compensate for it.
U would have to disable the sense UI to get it to run faster.

someone brought up a good point though...they said cdma was more or less thrown into 1.6 and had rough code for it, also they said the optimization wasnt there just yet with sense ui....they made me believe that with 2.0 it gets smoother and that the hero may not have that short of a life span as we are thinking.
ya it looks cool. I would like to see how everything runs on it. I heard the Hero is a little laggy.
The Hero was laggy before they updated the ROM, which Sprint launched in the phone. I suffer no lag whatsoever, and have had the phone for 3 weeks now. I just put my phone on the charger at 30%, and it had been on for 27 hours straight with no charge. There are a lot of misconceptions about the Hero, and they really have more to do with Android. There is a learning curve to it, just like Linux, and there are a ton of things you can do to improve the experience overall.
Sense UI, is amazing. It should not be understated as it is just fantastic in its implementation.
