When you pull the battery does it do a hard reboot like the BBs or can you turn it on right away. I always hated the Storm 1 rebooting in the middle of a call or something and having to wait 3-5 minutes to use the device again.

Yes, I saw the thread about the battery pull while the device was on. What about when the device is off?

IT is the same thing even if the power is off... you are removing the Power from the Device... No matter if you have powered down your S1 with the RED Phone button.. or it is up and running... when you Pull the battery from the Phone it will hard reset.. and run thru the reboot process

Eris hard start time is about a minute.
I was curious and tried it since I have not had to pull the battery.

This isn't a blackberry, is there a need to do a battery pull with droid's? Haha, they're too smart for BP's.

30 seconds for the Droid to come online after a battery pull and power on.

Yep, the Droid is freakin fast on reboots.

I think the correct statement here is... Android is fast. Keep Java where it belongs.... in a mug!
