    Handcent App does w/e you want as far as ringtone+vibrate combo, popups ect. Its by far the best free Android MMS/SMS app.

    The stock one should be able to do it too.

    Go to the stock messaging app, touch menu, settings, then find notification settings and make sure the vibrate option is checked.
