I had no problem with the Eris so it must be the new 2.1 OS but I can only connect with my Yahoo mail via my network connection. If I use wifi it will not connect.
I had the same issue with the N1. Yahoo would only work over celluar data and not WiFi. I read some things about it and there are some workarounds but they aren't consistent. I'm sure others may have found some things. Note in the second article its says that free yahoo accounts cannot sync over WiFi. I'm not sure as I don't use my N1 as much.
