Those challenges were largely overcome when Google updated its support for folding devices. That doesn't make the past comments wrong. It just means time has progressed and things changed.

BB Ltd isn't China. BB Ltd is BlackBerry proper and would probably like to chat with them about licensing fees. Zipperstein might be filing the paperwork right now lol.
You missed the point. China really doesn't care if it infringes on patents, trade secrets, proprietary information and design, etc.
BlackBerry cares, China.....not so much.
Ahh, yeah. Add me to r/whoosh.
Yeah, even if Ogadget (from HK) is handling this preorder scheme, Unihertz is a Shanghai outfit.
Also, Chinese OEM for (deceptively?) bargain basement prices likely means Mediatek parts, i.e. cut that 6000 mAh figure by 90%. Again, assuming that this crowdfunded hardware doesn't go all Saygus.
I really like the look of it. If the quality is there, I'm totally interested.
I hope it's legit. I am enthralled. :)
Sued into submission
I tried to pay the $10 as I love to have one phone in that aspect ratio but I get an error

As for that company they already produced two phones with success. They are concentrating into super niche markets and they succeed.
Wow, thats great! So let me get this straight! Most feel this company should be sued into the Stone Age and we shall all hope against hope that BBMo/TCL might or probably will not release a K3. Am I understanding this correctly? Well in that case, see you all on the Slab forums complaining why there is no more PKB BlackBerry's and no one else producing a PKB! Win, win! Difficult to argue with that!
I'm interested at that price point, though I'm skeptical this will become a reality with all of BlackBerry's patents that are likely being ripped off here. But at $10 it's a pretty safe bet.
I got the same error message when trying to pay via Google pay and via credit card directly.
I had the same experience as you. I've emailed the company to see if there's any resolution to this.
I also tried and Google pay stop the transaction
please keep us updated.
I'm from Canada. Not sure if that makes a difference. It's a very odd error message though.
if anything i would wait til the kickstarter actually happens.
This is a Chinese phone right? It'll probably end up 3G or with the wrong bands for North America countries. But...if they do it right, I'm intrigued!
I don't know if anyone back then said "never" but my momma always told me "never say never" , lol.
Well, if you're allowing renders and pictures to count as something, we had a Key3 page that had pictures long ago ;-)
Chuck, what's wrong with you? You have made me agree 3 times in a row with you! I am feeling quite confused![emoji23][emoji2957]
I used to use a Passport, KEYone, KEY2... Now I use a Unihertz Atom as my daily driver. Seeing this Titan now, I will admit, I want to try one!
is that red line on the kb an initial sign of capacitive touch? isn't blackberry the only one who have that patent?
Think I will wait for the red edition.
