    Pretty sure you can find the Z4Root on the actual Android market... I did, though I didn't use it.

    Visionary.apk will soft root it.

    if you want to perma-root it you need to set "s=off"

    Nope. you need SU access to do that. You might look @ AWDLauncher or Launcher Pro Which are stand alone .apks but IIRC you need root access to do it.
