I tried seven and it didn't work at all for me. It was way slower than what I normally had running with the build in email program. Gmail is not instant for me but it does good enough. I don't need instant email so I guess I am lucky.

PEBKAC I believe is the phrase. Problem exists between keyboard and chair. Still push gmail here.
