So I was thinking about updating to the HTC Thunderbolt. Since I dont have 4G in my area I decided to wait....
So I have been out of the Android scene latley. I have been running 2.2 Froyo and Launcher Pro rooted.
I recently read up on the new .588 Ginger Bread release. I Installed with no issues and the X is soooo much better on GB! I freaking love it!!!

So just saying if you are not running GB, then get on it! I LOVE MINE!!!

I'm really surprised how much more tolerable blur is on Gingerbread.

The thunderbolt really isn't much if there's no 4G in your area. The dx is a great phone and is more than capable to hold off with.

I haven't rooted my dx yet, but I've been hearing so many people saying that the GB update made the phone so much better. I probably will wait for the OTA update, but I am highly anticipating this update.

Good to hear you are enjoying the dx again.

The leaked GB, yes. I believe the SuperOneClick root version 1.3 app still roots the dx/d2 in cause you want to try.
