i doubt it will be difficult.
coz it's from BB to BB. should be as seamless as bridging OS7 contacts to playbook's.

The only way to transfer contacts to your android now that google sync has gone uses three apps: blackberry desktop manager (sync your contacts) then outlook (sync outlook with mobile devices) then create a csv form (https://motorola-global-en-usa.custh...k-2011-for-mac) to import in to gmail. long and arduous but reliable.
where do the contacts synced from bb desktop manager go to
No need to spent $4.99 USD to transfer contacts. it is very easy to do natively.
Just pair both your android phone and blackberry via bluetooth, make sure it is connected (by clicking the blackberry device in android settings).
Then in your blackberry > bluetooth, find your android device > press menu button > transfer contacts. It will send a .vcf to your android and just open it with your android contacts app to import them.
Thank you jiatern. knew it could be done by Bluetooth but spent too much time looking in phonebook rather than bluetooth options. you've saved me as my bb desktop back up kept failing and as my bb is enterprise i couldn't use bb restore.
Thank you!
Worked great and fast with no charges!!! thanks for the advice
I got it to work. Thanks very much!!!!
Great solution with the Bluetooth. Worked like a charm
The fastest way is by installing Google Sync in your blackberry.
Install Google sync on the Blackberry by visiting Google Sync m.google.com/sync
Download the app and sync the Blackberry contacts to Google Account.
On Android device, simply signed in to Google account and it import all contacts.
Google Sync will take care of everything.
Even if u lose your phone, contacts are safely stored and restored to the new phone in minutes.
Thank you for the tip.
Merci beaucoup :)
Thank you.
But now the vcf doesn't want to open. it shows like this Attachment 171360 if I click on either of them, nothing happens
I posted a reply to you, but I guess I didn't choose "reply" sorry lol
The reply I did just before this was not with quote and it was for you, thanks

I uninstalled Google Sync on my BBB 9700 after Google kept deleting street addresses. I lost everyone's home and work addresses. This was a huge problem when I needed to send out thank-you's for graduation gifts. "oh hey sorry for the delay, guys, Google has a complex about other platforms' database structures."
So, at the least, back up your contacts via BlackBerry Desktop to .CSV.
Hi Jiatern, i tried transferring contacts as per your suggestion, however it when i received the file on my android phone it said format not compatible even though it was a .VCF file.
Can you please suggest any other way to transfer...
thanks:)
Thank you Jiatern!! Follow her instructions and you are golden. Great solution from a great mind.
guy you have to install bb link on your system before sending anything from ur 7.1 bb to 10.
Transfering contacts from old Blackberry to Blackberry 10 is now really easy:
Step 1: Install inTouchApp on your old Blackberry from App World & create an account
IntouchApp Contacts - Backup + Sync + Auto-update - BlackBerry World
Step 2: Install inTouchApp on your new Blackberry10 and login
That's it - done! Contacts will sync automatically between the two phones like magic! No data loss, no technical knowledge needed, no settings / files / PC / USB to fiddle with!

Is intouchapp supports Android 4.4?
I use Google Contacts as my cloud source for everything. That way, the same contacts appear across my iPhone, Kindle Fire, iPad, Z10, PlayBook, iPod etc.
