    Sad that the USA GS3 with have to downgrade to the 2-core CPU instead of the 4-core Exinos. Other than that it appears to be a super heroes type high-tech phone that even "Tony Stark" would love to have.
    Not a downgrade. More cores =/= better. The GPU is better on international though.

    The reason for the dualcore processor has to do, in the US, with the 4G LTE capabilities. At least, that's what I have heard which means that maybe next year we might have a quadcore processor with 4G LTE.

    wow. That means my SGS 2 which I got in February is now obsolete.
    not really if its still a good phone and does its tasks then its still relevent

    You might want to ask that question outside the Android sub-forum...

    Back on topic, I wish the TMO version had the quad core chip since they're nowhere close to deploying an LTE network (at least that's the reason I'm hearing the other carriers went with the dual core chip: to make the phone work with their LTE networks)
