The only thing I can get to is the downloading function. Holding -volume and tapping power only boots the phone. The phone is locked. My daughter forgot the pattern we're trying to give the phone to my neice.
I've sesrch and can't find the download for the os. Any help is appreciated.

I figured it out guys. Its +volume, camera, and holding the power down until it cycles to the utility menu. Everything I found online was wrong. I found it with system of imitating.
Hope this helps someone else.

Glad you found it. But for future reference... it's not an Android specific function, but the manufacturer of the device function.

Really? Other manufacturers using the android os has the same menu and gets to it very simular. Weird to say the least. I did go to the samsung site and they don't have anything. For the future I have another tool in my bag.
