what i did to do the same thing was i cut a buisness card to fit under the battery and now the battery cover is a b!tch to get off.


i would rather have it really hard to get off then fall off.

I ordered some doors....why not? THing is though, my battery door is **** to get off, straight out of the box. So is this an issue with older DROIDs? Mine was dated like 11/23.

What're people doing to their battery doors? Mine stays on tight and have not known anyone else to have any issues.

If Verizon is out of stock you can also get a free replacement from Motorola. Thats where mine came from.

a bunch of the phones that came out of the 1st batch had loose battery doors. a buddy of mine's was so loose he could actually shake the phone and the door would fall off.

I got mine in December and have had no issues with the battery cover. What I really hate is all the ******* that ordered the free covers that don't even own a droid.

BUT here is what I did to fix my door....
very easy and quick fix. makes it super sturdy.

np bro, just make sure you just do it a tiny bit otherwise your door will stick out a little. just remember that piece of metal is soft so don't play with it toooooooo many times. but if you over do it, just use your finger to push it down a little bit.
