    Has any successfully done this yet? Has it been done without tweaking the software (rooting or whatever).

    I'm strongly considering the switch from Storm 2 to Droid X but if I have to pay for tethering... I'll stay with Storm2 and "Tether".

    There are programs out there, PDA Net and Tether Lite, but i'm not sure they support BT or WiFi thethering w/o rooting the phone first.
