Just got my droid. Love it, but it seems even though I have the setting to check my email every 5 minutes. the only time it does is if I open email and then it checks. Am I doing something wrong?
Okay. I don't have any experience with that. What you could do, though, is have Google check it and push it to your device. It checks it once/hour, but if there's nothing that can't wait an hour max, it's a great solution.

See if you can forward your emails from your Comcast acct to your Gmail acct. I do that with my Time Warner Roadrunner acct. You will get instant notification on your Gmail acct. You would have to go to your Comcast acct to reply, if you don't want people to see your Gmail acct.
