I'm guessing you meant the user agent. As in the data that lets the server know what kind of browser you're using (Android, BB, IE, Mozilla, Safari, etc)

You cannot specify within the native browser but if you download Steel you can at least specify Android vs iPhone vs "desktop." I am not sure what user agent 'desktop' specifies but it should get the job done.

Thanks john thats exactly what i was asking. I wanted to know how to let sites know what kind of browser I was using. On some sites content is better in mobile format for me.
