Whats up guys, moto droid here. I am looking for a couple apps but have no idea what to look for. Hopefully someone here can provide some suggestions.

Wifi sharing via bluetooth? I am using pda net to tether but I am looking for an app to share wifi from my phone to my laptop?

I am using better keyboard but for some reason I just cant type very well in portrait. Thats 1 thing I loved about my BB storm, is there a skin or setting to make my droid on screen kb in portrait like my BB storm was (2 letters per key / double sized buttons)?

An app to wake up my phone? its extremely annoying to put down myphone, hit unlock, swipe.


On a side note, has anyone else caught their phone not come out of black screen after a call? 9 times out of 10 the other person hangs up before I can hit or even see the end call button??

I don't think there's an app for this yet. Last I read, this would require rooting of the phone.

Is there a free app to completely backup/restore my phone (settings, contacts, notes, sms, logs) incase it goes insane on me? Like I would do with desktop manager for my bb's?

What is the point of sharing your phone WiFi to your laptop via Bluetooth? Wouldn't it be easier/faster to get a WiFi card for your laptop.

Sorry but the back up App I use is paid. It is called MyBackup Pro, since I had 3 droids already, it has been essential. There is also a really good one less expensive called sprite backup.

Looking at the marketplace, I can see there are quite a few free apps to back up each of those individually for say SMS alone and whatnot.
