    Gmail was beta for the first few years I used it, and never had a problem. Beta google apps were far more stable than half the official releases I've used. The RIM google talk app is version 4 something and is pure crap.

    Under some of these arguments should I consider my Illustrator CS4 "Beta" because I know their making a CS5 version?
