    Sounds more like it's a manufacture "bloatware" vulnerability... But then if Google allows them to have " special access" then I guess it is their own fault too.

    BlackBerry is dying, Android is too "open", Microsoft is reinventing themselves every year.... all the while Apple and their closed system (but not overly secure) are reaping all the benefits in the business world.

    Pretty sure no one cares about these security flaws on android and they are 'reaping' as much as anyone else...

    No it isn't. BB10 handles all SMS functions - not the Runtime.
