This is very good news for RIM. Hopefully their (RIM's) release will have no bugs and it will look like a more refined product.

It is highly doubtful that BB10 will have no bugs. It would be more realistic to hope BB10 comes out with less bugs.
RIM has had some very buggy software releases.
I have 4.0.4 on my SGSIII with no bugs, but please quote your source for that comment.:raised-eyebrow:

Here are a few for you.
4.0 and 4.1 are just fine.
The December one is funny. I read somewhere that Google had killed Christmas!
Haha yea. Then at the same time they dismiss the Mayan doomsday prophecy. :)
The one link looks like 4.1 has plenty of issues also.
Which one?
I can't really comment on the 4.1 bugs because I'm running a custom ROM so I haven't run into any problems at all.
its like an april fools joke google is playing on us
I either read it wrong or they changed a typo. I thought this one said 4.1

What happened to the OP? Was this a hit and run?:p
It seems like a drive-by-trolling.
The prudent thing for RIM to do isn't to sit around hoping others stumble. I'm sure we all can agree on that.
The OP is back. Sorry, I have to occasionally work. Yes, it was a new link that I was quoting.
#1- We all have to work.
#2- Most androids still have ICS 4.0.4
#3- JB 4.1 has just started to be released to some carriers
#4- By the time that KLP 4.2 is released, all of the bugs should be eliminated
#5- This is an ANDROID SUB-FORUM, please refrain from starting a controversy
#6- Thank you, and goodbye
That's his MO, just check the post history. Loves posting negative threads about all non-RIM companies.
It was probably posted in general and moved here. Make no mistake though, it was designed to generate controversy.
This news is probably having a huge impact on Android sales globally.
LOL.
IMO playing with 4.2 its no question that android is on top

When my SGS3 received the 4.1 update, it was rather buggy and sluggish afterward. I did a factory reset and everything seems to have stabilized and I'm loving the update.
Still on 4.0.4, but i'm with AT&T, and they always take a little longer. Anything really new and interesting in the update?:)
The notification tray has some changes (more text preview for incoming messages) and Google Now is really flippin sweet if you're not afraid to share your location. It can do a lot of really handy things.
Yeah, I like it too. But the "Travel" card in GN needs a setting to eliminate the "work" address. Whenever I leave home - go to the store or wherever - it lets me know the time and distance back to home, but it also wants a work address and there is no way to not put a work address in and still be able to use the going-home function.. For some reason it thinks that any venture is related to leaving home for work. I finally had to disable the "Travel" card, though I'd much prefer to use it.
could this be what the Mayan doomsday prophecy is all about?
actually they are referring to the end of the world for unspecific software?
We all missed to check on 'that' type of world. the software world.
man... they are so advanced.
definitely alien involvement.
