Please read the thread...everything can be downloaded with the Blackberry Manager!

just go to settings / app manager and uninstall all bb apps ,then install bb manager and install all apps from there ,make sure you enable all permissions

Are you sure? I pay for the subscription for the BlackBerry suite and it has been coexisting with Cobalt's BlackBerry Manager for quite some time. I use BlackBerry Manager just for Keyboard and, since March or so, for Notable. BlackBerry Manager and Keyboard both show up in BlackBerry Manager. It's just notable that doesn't.

Thx Cobalt for the great tool and your hard work in supporting it. I have a question about the update in the BlackBerry Manager for the BlackBerry Lancher 1.1.4.7109. When i hit update there is a error: LauncherFacade can't be installed. There is app with the same name. I have already deinstalled the lancher, cleared cache, did a reboot but i keep getting the error when i install the app trough the BB Manager app. I did put back a old version from the repository, that one works OK but updating still doesn't work.

Device: S7 Edge Andriod 7.0

It looks like there is a serious issue with the new Launcher on Samsung devices.

The Launcher wants to register a specific permission that is already used by an other app.

@all: did the update work on non Samsung devices?

The latest working version of the Launcher is now available in the repo. I also updated the keyboard.

The new version of Launcher seems to have clashing permissions:

W/PackageManager: Package com.blackberry.blackberrylauncher attempting to redeclare permission com.android.launcher.permission.
WRITE_SETTINGS already owned by com.sec.android.app.launcher

This prevents the installation of the update. I believe that this is a bug in Launcher.

I'm not sure if it only occours on Samsung devices.

cobalt, thanks for your work on this....installing the previous version of the launcher helped me get it back working again. both the newest version on bb manager and the one in the play store are not working. also, im using an lg g6

Ok. I've built a custom version for now for the new Launcher, but that permission issue is really ugly and needs to be fixed by BlackBerry.

You can get the working version 1.1.4.7109 from the repo.

Can you verify if the package com.sec.android.app.launcher is installed on your S8?

It's a system app.
